PROJECT SCOPE
Edemx Energy International Limited executed the Replacement of Existing Abura 8S & L Flowlines With 4” Schedule 80 Flowlines in OML 65. OML 65 is an onshore block in the western axis of Niger Delta, containing one producing field: Abura. Abura has being in production since 1978.
The scope of work includes:
Supply of pipe bends, elbows, flanges, gaskets, bolts, nuts and other pipeline construction accessories
Transportation of 1,900 Joints of 4” Sch. 80 PE Coated Line-pipes
Provide for the Clearing of Marshy/Swampy and Bushy Sections of the ROW
Stringing, Beveling, Welding and Field Wrapping of 1900 joints of 4” schedule 80 PE Coated Line-pipes
Trench excavation, Lowering and Backfilling of Abura 8S & L Flowlines routes
Complete Road Repair and Thrust boring through Major Roads
Manifold Tie-ins
Well Head and Manifold Hook – up Assembly
X-Radiography and Pressure Testing
Provision of Temporary Cathodic Protection system
Provision of Project management tools and as built drawings
Commissioning of the newly constructed Flowlines
De-commissioning of the Old Flowlines and Transportation to NPDC Warehouse.
